This article is an effort to figure out top ten highest mountain peaks among all other which are present in the world.

Annapurna is a section of the Himalayas in north-central Nepal. Annapurna is a series of peaks, the highest of which is called Annapurna I, which is the tenth highest mountain peaks in the world. It is located in central Nepal and is approximately 26,545 feet (8,091 meters) tall. Its peaks are some of the world’s most dangerous to climb. In fact, they have a fatality rate of about forty percent.


Dhaulagiri comes next in my list of top ten highest peaks in the world and it is ranked as seventh highest mountain peak of the world. Dhaulagiri highness is approximately 26,795feet which is 8167 meters and it is positioned in north of central Nepal. Name of this highest mountain peak “Dhaulagiri” means “White Mountain”. Dhaulagiri South and West both faces mark gigantic drop; each of them rises 4000 meters almost from its basis and each has been the spot of classic mounts.

Mount Everest

Mount Everest is the Earth’s highest mountain peaks, with a peak at 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) above sea level and the 5th tallest mountain measured from the centre of the Earth. It is located on the border between Sagarmatha Zone, Nepal, and Tibet, China and is part of the Himalayan Mountain Range. Although it is the tallest mountain and attracts many climbers of both advanced and limited climbing skill, it is one of the easier mountains to climb.


Makalu comes next in my list of tallest mountain peaks in the world and it is considered as fifth tallest mountain peak and its exact location is approximately 14 miles east of Everest. It is to be found on the boundary of Nepal and China. Makalu is only secluded peak that has only one of its kind silhouettes of four sided pyramid. There is one more supplementary climax that does not rather congregate to the eight-thousander standing called Kangchungtse or Makalu II.
